La CHRETIENNE has been a small family estate of 6 hectares for three generations.
Thierry Simon took over in 1999.
The vines are 40 years old on average, and are planted on a particular limestone vein. They are exposed to the Mistral wind, and each vine has a view of the sea.
The grapes are hand-picked and selectively sorted on the vine.
Vinification is traditional, following in the footsteps of our ancestors.
In the end, the wines are light and airy, expressing all their strengths through finesse.
A generous nose with intense notes of red fruit. Ample, powerful, round and fleshy on the palate, this wine is bursting with ripe fruit. A long finish with subtle hints of licorice.
