Martini is an Italian vermouth brand, named after the martini & rossi distillery in turin. It's the brand name of a famous Italian vermouth created in 1863 by the distillery of Alessandro martini and luigi rossi. it's made from 80 blended plants and herbs, distilled and then added to wine. it comes in different versions: rosso, extra dry, bianco, rosato and Martini d'oro.

Consumed chilled as an aperitif, martinis are used in many cocktails, as well as in cooking to flavor sauces, pastries and ice creams. Martini is not an alcohol, but rather a brand of alcohol called vermouth. Vermouth is a flavored wine (usually plant-based), created in the second half of the 19th century by two partners (Martini and Rossi).
