This whisky liqueur, whose origins date back to the 18th century, is distinguished by its heathery aromas.

The name Drambuie is derived from the Gaelic An Dram buiadch, which literally means the drink that satisfies. Legend has it that it was the personal liqueur of Prince Charles Edward (Bonnie Prince Charlie). In 1746, following the defeat of his army at the Battle of Culloden, he entrusted Captain John Mackinnon, a native of Skye, with the recipe for his favorite drink. Made with blended Scotch and heather honey, Drambuie is a rich, creamy, fruity liqueur.
