This wine from the best Languedoc terroirs has been vinified with the greatest respect for tradition; louis Eschenauer's know-how has been recognized since 1821. The merlot is round, powerful, richly colored and full-bodied, with fairly supple tannins.

The Louis eschenaeur merlot red wine is a reserve wine of 75 cl and 13% of alcohol which accompanies you in your various daily tastings. It's an ideal table wine for special occasions, for lovers of fine wine. 

Once perfectly ripe, the grapes are harvested, destemmed and crushed. Fermentation takes place over 6 to 12 days at low temperature to preserve the richness of the aromas. The wine takes on an extremely deep garnet-red color. An expressive perfume revealing notes of red fruit, such as cherry and raspberry, as well as blackcurrant.
